AARON BRYANT

LCSW, MPA, LSUDC

Executive Director and Clinical Director

Aaron Bryant acquired a Bachelor in Social Work degree from the University of Utah, where he completed an Alcohol and Drug Counseling program. He also received a Master’s Degree in Social Work and then a Master of Public Administration, both from the University of Utah. During his graduate education, Aaron wrote a major research paper dedicated to the exploration of methods to reduce sexual violence, raise sexual violence awareness, and provide adequate resources for victims of sexual violence.

Aaron has experience working in outpatient substance use disorder treatment for more than 12 years. He served patients at the University of Utah Department of Psychiatry from 2007-2016. He served on a specialty team at Adult Probation & Parole with the Utah Department of Corrections to provide probation officers substance use disorder training and provide assessments and referrals as an alternative to incarceration.
Aaron most recently served as the Clinical Director and Executive Director at an outpatient treatment agency for substance use disorders.

Aaron is a person in long term recovery and is a published author of a memoir which discusses his journey in early recovery.

MAREN MATHER

Administrative Manager

Maren Mather has been involved with hiring and training new employees for 10 years and still loves it. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education and Administration from Utah Valley University. Shortly after graduation, she accepted a job at UVU in the Career and Internship Department where she fostered relationships with companies and encouraged them to hire interns and new graduates. Maren also had the opportunity to teach as adjunct faculty for the Woodbury School of Business at UVU. During her 6 years at UVU, she completed extensive trainings in human resources and leadership management that have served her well in future jobs.

Maren accepted the job at Avante Recovery Center to be an asset in an industry that is close to her heart; as a family member has been struggling through addiction and recovery. In her free time, Maren enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking treats and taking her boys to trampoline parks.

ANNMARIE ALLRED

BSW, CASUDC

Counselor

AnnMarie completed an Associate of Science degree from Snow College while performing as a scholarship student athlete. She then went on and obtained her Bachelor’s in Social Work and Advanced Substance Use Disorder Certification from the University of Utah, graduating with Honors. While at the University of Utah she worked as a research assistant for the Social Research Institute.

In her spare time AnnMarie enjoys playing on her coed softball team, loving her mini golden doodle, Shelby, and spending quality time with friends and family. She believes genuine connection helps support healing and growth.

AMY FELLER

CMHC

Mental Health Therapist

Amy is an energetic and compassionate psychotherapist who has experience working with individuals, couples, children, and families with a variety of issues and in numerous settings. She specializes in working with substance use disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, behavioral issues and enjoys utilizing play therapy when working with children.

Amy graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in 2012 from the University of Phoenix and her Master’s Degree in 2014 from the University of Phoenix.

In her free time Amy loves to spend time with family, is an avid boxer, and enjoys hiking. She believes connecting to oneself through fitness is an important component to improving well-being.

SABRINA BICKERSTAFF

Lead CNA

Sabrina Bickerstaff has been a Certified Nursing Assistant for the past four years and has grown so much from the opportunities and people she was able to help. During this time, she discovered her love for art and its ability to help her and her loved ones heal. Sabrina is currently attending Salt Lake Community College, pursuing a degree in psychology with an emphasis in art therapy. She also hosts art nights at a local coffee shop every month. Sabrina accepted the Lead CNA position at Avante Recovery Center and will be providing coordination and communication between medical and clinical staff. Besides painting, Sabrina enjoys spending time outdoors; she is an avid trail runner. In winter months she can be found enjoying the presence of her friends, family, and community, usually sipping on a cup of coffee.
